What is an RSS feed?

RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication". It allows users to receive web feeds of the latest news and other important information from ELCC portal without having to revisit the website itself to check for updates. The RSS service is user friendly, easily activated and available for free.

How does it work?

To start using ELCC portal RSS service, you need a news reader or aggregator that collects, updates and displays RSS content feeds from this portal.


How do I get a News Reader?
There are many news readers and aggregators available on the web that you may download for free. New versions are also appearing all the time. There are also many web-based readers available. All what you need to do is search for a newsreader on the web, find one that suits your needs and download.

Most common RSS readers are:
 RSS Bandit
 NetNewsWire (for users of Apple Macintosh)


How to subscribe to ELCC RSS Feeds?

1. Download a “News Reader”
2. Once you have reader installed, copy the URL stated below. In your news reader, select the option that adds a new feed or channel, then paste in the URL.
