ELCC Receives Technology in Government in Africa (TIGA) Award 2007
ELCC received the Technology in Government in Africa (TIGA) awards in the “improved educational services through the use of ICT” category in support of the Center’s innovative approach in taking Africa forward in the use of ICT's for public services delivery.

e-Challenges e-2007 Conference and Exhibition
Over 600 delegates from leading commercial, government and research organizations gathered at the eChallenges Conference and Exhibition held in Netherlands to share knowledge and experience in areas of applied ICT. ELCC along with an official delegation from MCIT participated in the exhibition with one stand among the extended Egyptian pavilion.

Cisco's 'Project of the Year' award recognizes stand-out initiatives, individuals and academics for their innovative use of technology.

Launch of Egypt’s iExec Program
Sponsored by MCIT and in cooperation with the ELCC; Cisco Systems launched Egypt's iExec program, the first Arabic business essentials course for Egyptian businesses. The program provides ICT-related business education that helps SMEs develop new strategies to transform their organizations and businesses through the strategic use of ICT.
