According to the contributions of the E-Learning Competence Center (ELCC), in Managing the projects of the European Union for the Development of Education using ICT Solutions, (ELCC) received an invitation from the Royal Institute of Technology of Sweden to participate in the e-Profing Project, One of the EU projects to support education and raise the capacity of human resources in Egypt Through the Erasmus + program.
The project is an international response to the pressing need for the engineering community to contribute to EG understanding of Lifelong Learning (LLL) issues, challenges and opportunities facing engineering, with a particular focus on continuous learning for different and non-traditional disciplines, as sustainable development, innovation…etc.
Main objectives-issues to be addressed:
The issues that this project addresses are.
- Defining the qualification gap between EG engineering and the labor market.
- Developing of an innovative LLL framework in partner universities.
- Knowledge-transfer and EU Best practice manuals.
- Developing an online Learning Management System (LMS).

- Egyptian Engineers Syndicate

(ELEC) has many activities in this project, as follows:
- integrate new learning technological techniques according to e-learning principles and standards.
- Train project partners to develop e-learning courses and materials.
- Ensure the quality of content according to international and educational standards.
- Participate in developing the e-content.
- Participate in management, publishing and sustainability activities of the project.
- interchange experiences between Egyptian and European partners.
